c1930 Goblin Market by Christina Rossetti : Illustrated by Florence Harrison

An exquisitely illustrated and decorated book Goblin Market and Other Poems by Christina Rossetti. Beautifully illustrated by Florence Harrison. Undated but published around 1930 by Blackie & Son, London.

Has eight colour plates, decorative endpapers, headers and footers and wonderful line drawings (see photos). Inside the pages are in very good condition. Inked inscription to the top of the half-title page from 1933. The outside edges have some tanning and spotting. All of the colour plates are in excellent condition.

In grey linen cloth over boards with grey/blue decoration and titles. Clean and smart. With a little splitting in places on the outer spine joints - but minor. The spine has tanned a little in comparison to the front and back.
