c1928 Shakespearean Comedies - Vintage Leather Bound Pocket-Sized Book

Here is a lovely vintage pocket-sized copy of Shakespearean Comedies. In full brown leather with decorative blind-stamping. Undated but with a pencil inscription from 1928 on the verso of the frontispiece. With a number of super black and white photos of actors in costume from historical productions.

Contents: As You Like It; A Midsummer Night's Dream; The Merchant of Venice; The Tempest; The Merry Wives of Windsor.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. With just the above-mentioned faint pencil inscription. The top closed edge is gilt, spotting to the other two sides. 

The brown leather has rubbed a fair amount around the outside edges and to spine ends. With a few scuffs to the leather. Rubbing also to the spine itself.
