Here is a charmingly illustrated and comprehensive collection of Nursery Rhymes with Pictures by Jack Orr. Undated but with an inscription from 1924, published TC & EC Jack., London. A large format hardback, with wonderful artwork comprising sixteen colour plates and a number of line drawings. The contents are in good condition, with some wear to the boards detailed below but remains a lovely copy of an uncommon book.

Inside pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. With just a few nicks to the outside fore-edges. Has the above-mentioned inked inscription on the verso of the frontispiece but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. All of the sixteen colour plates are present as called for and they are absolutely superb (see photos).

Cream papered boards have decoration to the spine and back and a paste down on the front. With some tanning and scuffing and a few marks mostly around the outside of the main illustration as can be seen in first photo. Also with some chips to the paper around the outside edges. Has rubbing to the papered corners to reveal boards beneath. The black decoration and titles on the spine have rubbed a little.
