c1900 Beeton's Book of Needlework / Ward, Lock & Co., London / Richly Illustrated in Black and White / In Very Good Condition

In very good condition, here is a super antique copy of Beeton's Book of Needlework. Undated but would have been published around 1900 by Ward, Lock & Co., London. Richly Illustrated with hundreds of black and white diagrams. Please note the title page says this edition has folding plates, but that is a printing error. This edition was never published with folding plates.

Consisting of: Bazaars and Fancy Fairs; Drawn Linen Work; Children's Fancy Needlework; Knitting and Netting; Embroidery; Artistic Knicknacks; Macrame; Lace.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound with some scattered spotting. Has tanning and spotting to the closed outside edges. Has some faint marks to the closed top edge. This copy has not been written in and there are no other markings of previous ownership.

Olive-green cloth covered boards have ornate gilt decoration to the front and spine. The rear cloth has become slightly raised in places, but minor. Otherwise in very good condition indeed - this is an eye-catching volume.
