Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. Has some tanning to the closed top edge. No inscriptions or markings of previous ownership.

Striking dark-blue cloth over boards have gilt and red decoration to the front and spine. In very good order - just some mild rubbing to the corners and spine ends - but minor. The gilt decoration remains shiny bright, and this is an eye-catching book.
