1982 MINT Limited Edition Edmund Dulac Birthday Book - One of 100 Copies

In MINT condition and still in the original box, here is a vintage Birthday Book. Being a perpetual calendar with information on, and illustrations by Edmund Dulac. One of only 100 deluxe copies produced at The Pergamon Press by Hodder and Stoughton, London. In brown leather, with gilt decoration and dentelles. Shiny gilt-edged pages and a ribbon marker. Never written in, and looks as good as new.

Definitely one for the Dulac collector. With illustrations taken from his Arabian Nights, Rubaiyat and Fairy Tales. Extremely scarce, especially in this condition and in the original box.

Has many full pages of Dulac illustrations, plus a literary quote for every day. With four days to each page.

In the original white envelope-style card slipcase. This has a little wear - it has a tear where it has been pulled to open, and has lost an inner flap. But it remains good and strong, and will continue to protect the book for many more years.
