1955 Lorna Doone by RD Blackmore / JM Dent & Sons London / Decorative Boards / Illustrated With Colour Plates and Drawings / Good Condition

Here is a lovely vintage edition of RD Blackmore's Lorna Doone. This richly illustrated version was published in 1955 by JM Dent & Sons Ltd of London. Has eight colour plates and a number of line drawings by Lionel Edwards. In good condition.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. With one small tear to the bottom of one page (not effecting the text). The eight colour plate illustrations are all present and good and there are further line drawn illustrations throughout. The top closed edge is tinted red, with a couple of light scuffs.

Decorative cloth covered boards are very striking with their repeating red horse and rider design. Again in top order.
