1951 Swiss Family Robinson by JR Wyss / JM Dent & Sons London / Decorative Boards / Illustrated With Colour Plates and Drawings by Folkard

Here is a lovely vintage edition of The Swiss Family Robinson by JR Wyss. This richly illustrated version was published in 1951 by JM Dent & Sons Ltd of London. Has eight colour plates, a number of line drawings by Charles Folkard. In very good condition.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. With some very mild tanning and spotting to the closed outside edges. Has a bookplate on the front free endpaper but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. The eight colour plate illustrations are all present and good and there are further line drawn illustrations throughout.

Decorative cloth covered boards are very striking with their repeating orange pattern and green titles. Again in top order.
