1950s Vintage Literature Set / Austen and Bronte / Sense & Sensibility, Northanger Abbey, Mansfield Park, The Professor and Shirley

Here is a charming set of five vintage literature books, being a selection of the works of Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte. Published in the 1950s by Nelson, London. In dark blue faux leather. 

Comprising: Sense & Sensibility, Northanger Abbey, Mansfield Park, The Professor and Shirley. 

Inside the pages are in good condition, being clean and tightly bound. There is a name and date of 1954 at the top of the front free endpaper of Northanger Abbey. The Professor has an Ex Libris stamp on the front paste down with the name stamped out in black (see photos). The other thing to note is the top edge of the Bronte books is gilt, with the Austens having blue tint.

The dark blue faux leather is in good condition, with a little rubbing and the odd faint mark bit overall lovely. Gilt titles are shiny bright.
