Mrs Beeton's Household Management A Complete Cookery Book. With Sections on The Housewife; Household Work; Servants' Duties; Laundry Work; Etiquette; Marketing; Carving and Trussing; The Art of 'Using-Up'; Household Hints; Table Decoration; The Home Doctor; The Nursery; The Home Lawyer. Published by Ward, Lock & Co., Ltd of London. With sixteen plates in colour and nearly three hundred and fifty illustrations. In excellent vintage condition, clean and bright. Often these Mrs Beetons, having been an essential part of the household have picked up stains and marks. That is not the case here at all - very smart indeed.

The best condition copy in this edition that I have seen to date.

It has a number of wonderful vintage adverts. There are some at the beginning and end of the book (see photos). All of the colour plates and numerous black and white illustrations are present. With no writing or markings of previous ownership. Outside edges are tinted and speckled red as published.

Light brown and maroon red faux leather covered boards are also top notch. The only condition point being some dulling of the titles.
