1946 Anne of Green Gables Set of Three Vintage Novels / LM Montgomery / George Harrap & Co., London / In Bright, Clean Vintage Condition

In the scarce dust wrappers, here is a lovely vintage collection of three Anne of Green Gables novels by LM Montgomery. Published in 1946 by George G Harrap & Co., Ltd of London. An unillustrated series. In good condition, with just a little bit of wear to the dust jackets.

The three books are: Anne of Green Gables; Anne of the Island and Anne's House of Dreams.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound with no writing or marks.

All have super bright and colourful dust wrappers. As would be expected from vintage books of this age, these have some nicks, chips and tears around the edges (see final close-up photo). Several of the tears have been stabilised on the reverse inside with professional bookbinder's tape. So with a little wear but the jackets still look very smart, and this is an attractive set.
