A treat for the Austen collector. In very good condition, here is a lovely vintage set of the completed novels of Jane Austen. Published in the late 1940s by Hamish Hamilton, London as part of their Novel Library series. Bright and eye-catching papered boards. Condition in detail below.

Comprising: Sense and Sensibility; Pride and Prejudice; Mansfield Park; Emma; Northanger Abbey and Persuasion.

Inside all the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. Several of the books have a stamp to an endpaper (see photos), but there is no other writing or markings of previous ownership.

Bound in patterned papered boards, with black cloth spines and gilt titles. All in very good order. The "Emma" title on the spine has dulled in comparison to the other books (this is common with this series). Also, there is a faded strip down the boards fore-edges of Emma. Otherwise just a little rubbing around the outside edges and to corner tips. And a little rubbing to the cloth on the spine ends.

Your vintage set will be wrapped with great care and sent well packaged. I am always happy to add a gift card with a message to the parcel.

Each book H 18 cm x W 11 cm, 1.3 kg. I dispatch worldwide daily from the UK. With the exception of a small number of countries.

* If you would prefer for your books not to be decoratively wrapped and simply dispatched in the full packaging, a note can be added to the order.
