An excellent copy of Jane Austen: A Bibliography by Geoffrey Keynes. Limited to 875 copies, this one is numbered 424. Scarce in the original dust wrapper. In very good condition, appears to have been little read. This is the first ever bibliography of Jane Austen and is a must for collectors and scholars. Lists the publication notes on the early editions in great detail. Published in 1929 by The Nonesuch Press, London.

Inside the pages are in excellent condition, clean and bright. A little toning on the top closed edge. Has a pencilled shelving note at the top of the front free endpaper, but no other markings of previous ownership. With a spare title label still attached to the rear pages (see photos).

Blue grey papered boards are also in top order having been well protected by the jacket.

The dust wrapper itself has a few small nicks and chips along the top edge, with a small area of loss next to the spine top front. One small nick on the bottom edge at the back. The spine has tanned a little in comparison to the sides. Faint stain to rear fore-edge. Otherwise clean, smart and will continue to protect the book inside for many more years.
