In good condition, here is an antique hardback leather bound copy of The Professor by Charlotte Bronte. Published in 1924 by John Grant, Edinburgh. In very good order for a book of over 100 years old. Has just some rubbing to the leather being the main condition point to note, detailed below.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound with no writing or inscriptions. Has some occasional scattered spotting. There is a black and white frontispiece, and then three further black and white photos of locations. The top closed edge is gilt.

In a blue leather binding with blue cloth sides. The leather spine has five raised bands with gilt decoration in each compartment and gilt titles. There is rubbing to the leather around the edges, spine joints and on the corners. The sides and corner pieces have a few light scuffs. Otherwise the binding is really good and strong with no cracked hinges.
