In very good condition, here is a lovely vintage copy of Zoo Days by Harry Golding. Undated but would have been published in the 1920s by Ward, Lock & Co., London. With 48 superb colour plates by the English illustrator Margaret Tarrant. The book has 37 short stories about different animals in the zoo including leopards, beavers, polar bears and hippos amongst many others.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. With spotting scattered sporadically through the book, and tanning/spotting to the outside edges. Has charming illustrated endpapers. With some creases and a small nick to the frontispiece illustration. All 48 colour plates are present as called for.

Light brown boards are clean and smart, with a colour paste down to the front. All in top order, with just a little rubbing to the corners and spine ends. A lovely edition.
