Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. With mild scattered spotting through the text. Has a bookplate on the front paste down, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. With 17 black and white illustrations and diagrams and with a full index at the rear. Has a chip out of the fore-edge of one page, but nowhere near the text.
Dark green cloth covered boards have orange and black decoration to the front and spine. All in top order, with just some very slight rubbing to the cloth on the corners and spine ends.
