1913 Tom Brown's Schooldays - Illustrated Antique Book

In excellent condition, here is a lovely antique hardback copy of Tom Brown's Schooldays. Undated, but with a prize bookplate dated 1913. Published by Thomas Nelson & Sons, London. With four colour plates and multiple line drawings in the text. Condition in detail below.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. Has some spotting to the early pages, and then just scattered lightly through the text. In addition to the illustrations mentioned above, there are also illustrated endpapers. With a prize bookplate on the front free endpaper - but no other markings of previous ownership or inscriptions. The top closed edge is gilt.

Olive-green endpapers have attractive decoration to the front and spine, and gilt titles. In top order - clean and bright. Just some very slight rubbing to the corners and spine ends. The gilt is shiny bright, and this is an eye-catching edition.
