In very good condition, here is a scarce antique copy of Jane Austen by Margaret Sackville. Undated but was published in 1910 by Herbert and Daniel of London in their Regent Library series.
A title which does not come up very often. I have never had a copy in stock before. One of the earliest single-volume popular introductions to Austen published.
A lovely copy. Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. Decorative, illustrated endpapers - with some tanning and a little rubbing in places. Inked inscription on the front free endpaper dated 1920, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. Toning to the top closed edge.
Light brown/cream cloth over boards have gilt decoration and titles to the front and spine. With a blind stamped border and decoration to the front and back. Again in top order. Clean and smart, with just the odd light mark - but minor. The spine has tanned a little.
Your copy of Jane Austen - The Regent Library edition, will be wrapped with care in tissue and ribbon* and sent well packaged. I am always happy to include a gift card with a message in the parcel.
