1910 Ben-Hur by Lew Wallace - Striking Full Leather Binding - Brock Illustrations

In very good condition, here is a lovely full-leather copy of Lew Wallace's Ben-Hur. Undated but would have been published around 1910 by Seeley & Co., London. With an ornate decorative leather front and eight black and white plates by HM Brock. Book, front and spine are in top order - with some wear to the leather on the back (see photos).

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. No writing or markings of previous ownership. All eight illustrations are present as called for.

The front and spine of this full leather edition are absolutely gorgeous. Rubbing around the outside edges and corners of the front board. The main CONDITION POINT with this copy is some wear to the back. This has some scuffs and has lost the leather on the top edge in places, to reveal boards beneath (see photos).
