In very good condition, here is a lovely antique edition of Anne Bronte's novel Agnes Grey. Published in 1907 by John Grant of Edinburgh as part of a series called the Novels of the Sisters Bronte, or The Thornton Edition. Fairly large in size (dimensions are listed below).

Opens with an armorial bookplate on the front paste down but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. Mild tanning to endpapers and just occasional scattered spotting in the text. The top edges are gilt and the other edges untrimmed, with some spots to the fore-edge. Has a black and white illustrated frontispiece, else unillustrated. Has a biographical notice of Ellis and Acton Bell (Emily and Anne Bronte) by sister Charlotte as the Introduction.

In olive-green cloth covered boards with attractive ornate gilt decoration to the spine. Also in top order with a light, faint scuff mark across the back board. The gilt decoration is bright and un-faded and this is an eye-catching book to display.

Your antique copy of Anne Bronte's Agnes Grey will be wrapped with care in tissue and ribbon* and sent well packaged. I am always happy to add a gift card with a message if desired.

H 22 cm x W 15 cm, 302 pages, 0.71 kg. I dispatch worldwide daily from the UK. With the exception of a small number of countries.

* If you would prefer for your book not to be decoratively wrapped but sent simply in the full protective packaging please add a note to the order.
