1898 Complete Novels of Jane Austen Plus Minor Works - Vintage Book Set

In absolutely excellent condition here is a complete six-volume set of the Novels of Jane Austen. Published in 1989 by Oxford University Press. One of the most comprehensive editions of her novels. With additional notes, illustrations and facsimile reproductions of the first edition title pages, plus early illustrations. There are many notes such as on Austen's grammar and vocabulary, plus indexes of characters.

Comprising: Sense and Sensibility; Pride and Prejudice; Mansfield Park; Emma; Northanger Abbey which is bound with Persuasion; Minor Works which includes The Watsons, Sanditon, Letters and Juvenilia.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound with no writing or markings of previous ownership (apart from one small note at the top of one page in Pride and Prejudice - shown in photos). All edges are shiny gilt. Bonded leather endpapers to match the bindings. Dark-blue place marker ribbons sewn in.

In dark-blue/black bonded leather with gilt Austen portrait to fronts and gilt titles to spines. All in top order. The gilt is still sparkly bright.
