1890s Little Women by Louisa M Alcott - Antique Book - Ruby Series

In good condition, here is a lovely antique copy of Little Women by Louisa M Alcott. Undated, but would have been produced in the 1890s by George Routledge and Sons, Limited, London. In their Ruby series. With delightful decorative boards. Condition in detail below.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. With the occasional spot and dark handling mark. Gapes at the gutter in the middle, but in no way effecting the binding of the text block which is good and strong. With a black and white frontispiece, else unillustrated.

Bright red cloth over boards have decoration to the front and spine. The front and back are in top order. The red on the spine has faded a good deal in comparison to the front and back, but the decoration and gilt titles can be easily discerned. Has a slight lean at the top of the spine - but minor.
