1888 Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray - Illustrated Antique Book in Two Volumes

In very good condition, here is a two-volume antique copy of William Makepeace Thackeray's classic work Vanity Fair. Richly illustrated in line by the author himself. Published by Smith, Elder & Co., London in 1888. Condition in detail below.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. No inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. A few folded top corners. Some mild spotting to the closed outside edges.

Dark-green cloth over boards have stamped black decoration to the fronts and spines, and shiny bright gilt titles. Again in very good order. Just a few light scuffs and some mild rubbing to the corners/spine ends.
