1888 Complete Poetical Works and Essays on Poetry of Edgar Allan Poe - Antique Book

In very good condition, here is a lovey antique copy of The Complete Poetical Works and Essays on Poetry of Edgar Allan Poe. Undated, but would have been published in 1888 by Frederick Warne & Co., London. In their Chandos Classics series. More details below.

Contents: Memoir; Poems of Later Life; Poems of Manhood; Poems of Youth; Doubtful Poems; Prose Poems; Essays; Arthur Gordon Pym.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. Toning and mild spotting along the closed top edge. No inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. Has publisher's listings to the endpapers. Partially cracked hinges here at front and back, giving the back board a mild wobble. In no way effecting the binding of the text block which is good and strong. Unillustrated.

Mustard-yellow cloth backed boards have green, gilt and black decoration to the front and spine, and blind-stamping to the back. Again in top order - colourful and unfaded. Some very slight rubbing and light marks to the spine - but minor. A little rubbing to the cloth on the corners and spine ends. The gilt titles remain shiny bright, and this is an eye-catching book.

Your antique copy of Poe's Poetical Works Etc. will be wrapped with care in tissue and ribbon* and sent well packaged. I am always happy to add a gift message to the parcel if desired.
