1871 The Handy Volume Shakespeare - Complete Antique Set of Pocket Books in 13 Volumes

From 1871, here is a complete set of antique pocket books of Shakespeare's plays. Comprising thirteen volumes, published by Bradbury, Evans & Co., London. Each book containing three plays. Condition in detail below.

Inside the pages are mildly tanned, but otherwise clean and tightly bound. A couple of volumes have faint inscriptions to the front free endpapers. One volume has a couple of pencil marks - but minor. Volume I has some tape marks to the front opening paste down and free endpaper (see photos). Just the occasional spot.

Green cloth over boards have some rubbing in places and one has a light stain mark (see photos). Gilt titles to spines.
