The Pursuit of Love and Love in a Cold Climate by Nancy Mitford / 1991-2 The Folio Society, London / Richly Illustrated / Super Covers

I absolutely adore these versions of Nancy Mitford's classic 1940s novels The Pursuit of Love and Love in a Cold Climate. Published here in 1991 and 1992 by The Folio Society of London to their usual high quality standards, bound in wonderfully illustrated cloth. Illustrated throughout by Roland Pym who also designed the boards. In good condition, with spotting to the spines being the only condition point to note (see photos).

The contents, printed on Beverley Antique Wove paper and Claudius Antique Wove paper are bright, clean and tightly bound with no writing or marks. The light-hearted illustrations perfectly depict the era and tone of the novels (see photos). 

The colourful illustrated cloth covered boards are also very good, having kept bright colours. With just the above-mentioned spotting to the spines.
