Just a beautiful book in all aspects. Here is a copy of The Fairy Tales of Charles Perrault first published in 1998 by The Folio Society, London. This copy is a sixth reprint from 2002. Beautifully decorated and illustrated throughout by Edmund Dulac and in the original slipcase box. Printed on Caxton Wove paper and bound in full dark red decorative Buckram cloth. In excellent, mint condition. Appears un-read and to have hardly ever been out of the box.

Contains: Sleeping Beauty; Little Red Riding Hood; Blue Beard; Puss in Boots; The Fairy; Cinderella; Riquet-with-the-Tuft; Hop-o'-my-Thumb and Beauty and the Beast.

Inside the contents are in excellent condition with bright, clean and tightly bound pages that have not been written in. With wonderful decorative head and tail pieces and with a number of colour plates (see photos). The top edge is tinted red to match the colour scheme.

Dark red cloth covered boards are also spotless and the charming decoration is as new.

In the original dark red slipcase box. This is also clean, smart and sturdy. With just the faintest of marks on the side - but minor.
