c1905 Flower Poems by Robert Herrick / George Routledge & Sons, London / With Twelve Colour Plates by Florence Castle / Very Good Condition

In very good condition here is a delightful antique copy of Flower Poems by Robert Herrick. Undated but would have been published around 1905 by George Routledge & Sons, London. With twelve charming colour plates by Florence Castle. In the original cloth binding.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. Has an inscription dated 1906 on the front paste down, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. All of the colour plates are present, as called for and each has their original tissue guards. Some of the tissues have some creases. The top edge is gilt.

In dark green cloth covered boards with dark blue accenting and gilt decoration. All in top order, with just a couple of minor condition points to note. Being some very mild rubbing/rounding to the corners and spine ends and a couple of faint marks on the front including a thin scratch mark which does not get picked up in the photos.
