An antique book trough / book shelf / book rest. With horses head design. Perfect for creating a library aesthetic whilst organising books on a desk, shelf or table. Particularly common in the Edwardian era, this book shelf has some age and so inevitably has picked up some wear, but I like that - and feel it adds to the antique charm.

Overall smart and with a good colour. The dark brown has rubbed in places and there are a couple of thin splits to the wood (see photos), but not effecting the structure at all which is good and strong. Looking fantastic when loaded with books as in the photo.
