In excellent condition, here is a large-format hardback copy of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Translated by Simon Armitage and with illustrations by Diana Sudyka. In the original slipcase box. Published in 2008 by The Folio Society of London.

One of the most admired modern presentations of the poem, both for its vigorous, alliterative translation and high quality of production.

Inside the contents are in mint condition. Pages are clean and tightly bound, with no writing or markings of previous ownership. The top closed pages are tinted red on the top.

Red cloth over boards have bright decoration to the front, and gilt titles to spine. Again in top order. No condition points to note.

The slipcase box is also very good. Just some fading to the top edge and light scuffing (see photos), otherwise clean and smart. Should continue to protect the book for many more years to come.
