1997 Jane Austen Complete Seven Volume Vintage Set - All in Individual Slipcases

A delightful and scarce set of Jane Austen's Works complete in seven volumes. Published in 1997 by The Folio Society of London. Each in an individual slipcase and published on Balmoral Book Wove paper. Richly illustrated with woodcuts by Joan Hassall (see photos). It is uncommon to find this set in the complete seven volumes. Books are in superb condition, a few light marks to the slipcases, but minor. A lovely set.

Contains: Sense and Sensibility; Pride and Prejudice; Mansfield Park; Emma; Northanger Abbey; Persuasion; Shorter Works.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. With no writing or markings of previous ownership, they appear un-read. With papered boards and dark red buckram cloth spines which have ornate gilt decoration. All super.

The slipcases are also in top order. Clean and smart. There is a slight bump to one corner of the slipcase containing Mansfield Park, otherwise just the odd light scuff and faint mark - but as mentioned above, all minor.
