In good condition here is a very attractive and authoritative edition of the works of Jane Austen. Published in 1989 by Oxford University Press as a complete set of "The Oxford Illustrated Jane Austen".
Contains all six completed novels: Sense and Sensibility; Pride and Prejudice; Mansfield Park; Emma; Northanger Abbey which is bound with Persuasion. Also includes a volume of Minor Works.
In my opinion this is the most comprehensive version of her works as each book contains so much more in addition to the novels. There are extensive notes and many, many black and white illustrations.
Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. Has a name and date on the front paste down of Minor Works but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. The only real condition point to note with the contents is foxing spots around the closed outside edges (see photos).
In the original bright and attractive dust wrappers, again in good condition, with just a little edge wear in places and some tanning and spotting to the edges of the inner flaps.
