1972 Works of The Bronte Sisters / Vintage Matching Hardback Set in Five Volumes / Excellent Condition / Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights etc.

In excellent condition here is a beautiful decorative hardback vintage book collection of the Works of The Bronte Sisters. With works from all three sisters: Charlotte, Emily and Anne. Published in 1972 by Heron Books, London. In dark blue faux leather with ornate gilt decoration. With black and white illustrations and blue place marker ribbons sewn in. The books are still so tightly bound they definitely have the feel of never having been read. 

The set comprises: Jane Eyre; Wuthering Heights; The Tenant of Wildfell Hall & Agnes Grey; Shirley; Villette. 

Inside the pages are clean and bright, with no writing or inscriptions. Opens onto pale grey/blue endpapers with ornate gilt decoration.

The dark blue faux leather bindings are also in top order. With just the occasional light scuff but minor. The gilt has remained sparkly bright and this set looks extremely eye-catching on display.
