1966 Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte : Illustrated Vintage Book

In excellent condition, here is an elegant and attractive vintage edition of Wuthering Heights published by Heron Books in their Literary Heritage Collection in 1966. Bound in dark blue faux leather with gilt decoration. Includes several black and white illustrations, (see photos) and a light blue place marker ribbon.

Pages inside are excellent being bright, clean and tightly bound with no writing, or inscriptions. A small brown blemish to a couple of the opening pages. Pale blue endpapers have intricate gilt patterning.

Deep blue faux leather boards are very attractive. The dark blue has remained lovely and un-faded and the gilt on the front board/spine is sparkly bright. Has just a few thin scratch marks to the surface of the rear board, but these can only really be seen by holding the book right up to the light. The gilt has remained sparkly bright, and this is a very attractive copy.
