1960s Peter Rabbit's Bookshelf - Complete Set of Vintage Books Plus Original Shelf

In absolutely superb time-capsule condition, here is a vintage Peter Rabbit's Bookshelf from the late 1960s. Complete with all 23 vintage books. In addition to being in superb condition, it also comes with a contemporary Warne's gift catalogue plus a couple of pamphlets about the Peter Rabbit bookshelf. It must have been kept in a cupboard out of the way for 60 years as there is very little sign of wear at all. No dust or fading etc. By far and away the best condition book shelf I have come across. The books are all in top order, with just a few condition points to note. They all date from the mid to late 1960s, and all have their original dust jackets. A few have been price-clipped. There are a few small tears to spine ends - but most absolutely fine. The Tale of Tom Kitten has some tanning blemishes and a few small nicks to the jacket. Jemima Puddle-Duck has some surface scuffing to the back, and Sam Whiskers also has some tanning blemishes to the dust wrapper and rear endpapers (see photos for all of these). No inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. Pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. As mentioned above, comes with scarce ephemera catalogue and pamphlets - also in good condition.

The bookshelf itself would have been the one described as cream in the pamphlet, but equally could be described as pale, pastel yellow. It is exceptionally clean and bright, with just the odd very slight scuff or mark - but minor. The Peter Rabbit sticker across the top is also clean, smart and completely intact.
