1956-1958 FIRST EDITION Set of Winston S Churchill A History of the English Speaking Peoples / Cassell & Co., London / In Good Condition

In good condition here is a vintage set in four volumes of A History of the English-Speaking Peoples by Winston Churchill. A masterpiece of historical writing. Published between 1956 and 1958 by Cassell & Co., London.

Comprising: Volume I The Birth of Britain; Volume II The New World; Volume III The Age of Revolution; Volume IV The Great Democracies.

All the contents are in super condition. With maps and genealogies. The only real condition point to note with these volumes is scattered spotting inside and heavier spotting to the closed outside edges (see photos).

In the original dust jackets. These are also in top order: clean, bright and unfaded. They just have some creasing and chips to the heads of the spines with a little loss in a couple of places. The back of Volume II has some spotting. The unclipped jackets have now been protected for the future by the addition of a removable plastic sleeve.
