In good condition, here is a lovely vintage hardback copy of Jane Austen's novel Persuasion. This version of her classic novel was originally published in 1950 by Reader's Union, London. With sixteen superb illustrations in colour by CE Brock which are some of the finest for any edition of Austen's novels. A super copy still in the original dust jacket. 

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. All sixteen colour plates are present and in excellent condition. This copy has not been written in and there are no other markings of previous ownership.

The dust jacket has kept a good bright yellow colour and is clean, bright and smart. Has faded just a little along the outside fore-edges. With a few small nicks to the top and bottom edges and two small indent dots near the spine. With a couple of light scuffs to the surface, but minor. The jacket has now been protected for the future by the addition of a removable plastic sleeve.
