Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. Has an inked name and date of 1927 on the front free endpaper, and four of the plates have pencil notations along the top edge (see photos). Speckled edges on the sides, as produced. Over time the book has developed a mild lean.

Olive-green boards have black and gilt decoration to the front and spine. With some rubbing to the corners and spine ends, otherwise clean and bright.
