In very good condition here is a charming slim antique book of fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen. Undated but would have been published around 1920 by Raphael Tuck & Sons, London. With charming illustrations by the collectable artist Mabel Lucie Attwell. Please note dimensions below of this slender volume. There are other titles in this series with Fairy Tales by both The Brothers Grimm and Andersen, all illustrated by Attwell.

Contents: The Mermaid, The Red Shoes and The Tinder Box.

Inside the pages are bright and tightly bound, with just the occasional faint handling mark. Has an elegantly-inked inscription on the back of the front free endpaper, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. Has two colour plates and a number of charming line drawings.

Blue-green papered boards have a colour paste down on the front. Again in top order.
