1918 Mansfield Park by Jane Austen - Illustrated Antique Book

In excellent condition, here is a beautifully illustrated antique copy of Jane Austen's Mansfield Park. Published in 1918 by Macmillan and Co., London. With forty excellent line drawn illustrations by Hugh Thomson. Condition in detail below.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. Has an inscription dated 1918 on the front free endpaper, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. A few handling marks - but minor. Gilt edged on the top, spotting to the other two sides.

Red cloth over boards have ornate gilt decoration to the front and spine. The gilt on the spine having dulled a little in comparison with the sparkly front. Has a very faint dark mark on the front just under the gilt titles. Also a light mark on the back along with a couple of mild bumps on the edges - again minor. Slight rubbing to spine ends. Otherwise excellent - clean, unfaded, square and bright.
