1912 Missionary Heroines in Many Lands by EC Dawson / Seeley, Service & Co., London / Eight Illustrations / Charming Boards / Good Condition

In good condition, here is an antique copy of Missionary Heroines in Many Lands: True Stories of the Intrepid Bravery and Patient Endurance of Missionaries in the Encounters With Uncivilised Man, Wild Beasts and the Forces of Nature in Many Parts of the World. By EC Dawson. Undated but research shows it would have been published in 1912 by Seeley, Service & Co., London. In charming Art Nouveau boards and with eight black and white plates.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. With tanning and spotting to the closed outside edges. Has a prize bookplate on the front paste down dated 1931 (see photos), but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. Has a stain on the inside top corner of the rear paste down, but only to the surface inside and not to the outside of the book (see final close-up photo). All eight black and white plates are present as called for.

Light brown cloth covered boards have delightful Art Nouveau decoration in red and dark blue to the front and spine. All in super order with no real condition points to note all.
