1907 The Poetical Works of Dante Gabriel Rossetti / Ellis, London / Leather Bound Antique Edition in One Volume / Good Condition

In good condition here is an antique copy of The Poetical Works of Dante Gabriel Rossetti. Published in 1907 by Ellis, London as a New Edition in One Volume. In a leather binding which has the gilt school crest of the leading independent Leys School in Cambridge, England on the front. With gilt edged pages and marbled endpapers.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound with just occasional light scattered spotting. With marbled endpapers which have a prize book plate from 1921 on the front paste down but no other writing or markings of previous ownership. Has a portrait frontispiece of Rossetti with the original tissue guard still in place. The closed edges are gilt which has remained shiny and bright.

In a dark red Moroccan leather binding with red cloth sides. The binding is in very good order, tight and square. Has some rubbing to the leather at the corners and some rubbing and scuffs to the spine. The spine has five raised bands and gilt titles. With the gilt school crest and Latin motto on the front. The gilt has dulled with time.
