1907 Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen - Illustrated Antique Book

In absolutely excellent condition, here is a lovely antique copy of Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen. Published in 1907 by JM Dent & Co., London, it is a first edition thus. With twenty-four superb colour plates by CE Brock, which are some of the best illustrations for any Austen edition in my opinion. Condition in detail below.

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound with no inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. Some tanning to endpapers, and spotting to the blank reverse sides of the plates and to the pages of text opposite. The top closed edge is gilt, the other sides untrimmed.

Pale-green cloth over boards have ornate gilt decoration to the front and spine. Also in top, excellent order. Just the slightest of tanning to the spine and very mild bump to top front corner - but minor and you have to look really hard to see this. The gilt is sparkly bright.
