Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. Lacks the front floral free endpaper and so opens directly onto the half-title page. With a few neat pencil underlinings and some small pencil ticks in the margins. Nothing too obtrusive. Unillustrated. All edges are gilt.

Cream cloth over boards have attractive floral decoration in green and gold to the front and spine. With some mild tanning to the mildly bevelled edges and a few faint marks to the cloth - but again minor. The decoration on the front is shiny and bright. The spine has tanned and rubbed a little in comparison, and has darkened slightly at the spine ends. Again the decoration here remains bright and this is a very attractive copy.
