1888 The Poems of Ralph Waldo Emerson - Antique Pocket-Sized Book

In very good condition, here is a charming pocket-sized hardback copy of The Poems of Ralph Waldo Emerson. Published by Walter Scott, London in 1888 in their Canterbury Poets series.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. A pencil price in old money at the top of the front free endpaper and an inked inscription at the top of the verso (see photos). Unillustrated.

Light-brown cloth backed boards have attractive black and gilt decoration to the front and spine. Again clean and smart, just a little rubbing to the corners and spine ends.

Your antique copy of The Poems of Emerson will be wrapped with care in tissue and ribbon and sent well packaged. I am always happy to add a gift card with a message to the parcel.

H 14 cm x W 11 cm, pp 270, 0.2kg.
