Here is a lovely antique copy of The Honey-Bee - Its Nature, Homes and Products by WH Harris. Undated, but research shows it to have been published in 1884 by The RTS, London. With a number of black and white illustrations and charming decorative boards. A little wear to the cloth - more details below.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. No inscriptions or markings of previous ownership. Has a number of diagrams and drawings in the text. A few folded/creased corners. The frontispiece still has the original tissue-guard in place. Gapes at the gutter in the middle of the book, but in no way effecting the binding, which is good and strong. The book has developed a lean.

Olive-green cloth backed boards have charming decoration to the front and spine, and gilt titles. Has some rubbing/mild rounding to the corners and spine ends. A small bump on the top edge of the back board. Some rippling of the cloth (see photos). Some very faint marks in the centre of the spine. Gilt titles remain shiny bright, and this is an attractive antique book.
