1866 British Fungi - A Plain and Easy Account by MC Cooke / Robert Hardwicke, London / In Excellent Condition / With 23 Superb Colour Plates

In excellent condition, here is a superb antique copy of A Plain and Easy Account of British Fungi by MC Cooke. Unbelievably this copy was published in 1866 by Robert Hardwicke, London. Making it 159 years old! It in no way looks to be of that age. With twenty-three colour plates and a colour title page. 

Inside the pages are clean, bright and tightly bound. With no writing nor any other markings of previous ownership.

Green cloth covered boards have ornate stamped decoration to the front, back and spine, plus gilt decoration and titles. Again all in top order. With a little rounding of the cloth at the corners and spine ends. The green and gold on the spine have dulled slightly in comparison with the bright front. Otherwise again clean and smart.
