Antique Cookery Book: Warne's Model, 1920s, Household Management, Six Colour Plates

Here is a wonderful antique copy of "Warne's Model Cookery With Complete Instructions in Household Management. Undated but would have been published around 1922 by Frederick Warne & Co., London. In the original attractive decorative binding. Comprehensive and with six colour plates. Making a wonderful reference as well as an eye-catching decorative item for the kitchen.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound, with just the occasional spot and brown blemish. This copy has not been written in, and there are no other markings of previous ownership. With partially cracked hinges at the front and back, but not effecting the binding of the text block which is good and strong. With some tanning to the endpapers and page edges.

In petrol-blue cloth over boards with ornate decoration to the front and spine. Has some light markings to the front board, and a couple of light marks on the back. Has a small bump to the bottom front corner. Rubbing to the corner tips and spine ends - with a 2.5 cm split to the cloth at the head of the spine (see photos). The decoration to front and spine remains vivid, and this is an eye-catching book.
