1979 Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte - Illustrated Vintage Book

In very good condition, here is an elegant and attractive vintage edition of Jane Eyre published by Heron Books in their Literary Heritage Collection in 1979. Bound in dark blue faux leather with gilt decoration. Includes several black and white illustrations, (see photos) and a light blue place marker ribbon.

Pages inside are excellent being bright, clean and tightly bound with no writing, or inscriptions. Pale blue endpapers have intricate gilt patterning.

Deep blue faux leather boards are very attractive. The dark blue has remained lovely and un-faded and the gilt on the front board/spine is sparkly bright. Mild bumping to the bottom corners and a small bump also to the bottom of the spine on the front - but all minor (see photos). A very attractive book.
