Here is a vintage hardback copy of The Wayward Bus by John Steinbeck. Being an English first edition copy published in 1947 by William Heinemann Ltd, London. The book is in good condition. Has the original dust wrapper which has some wear along the top edge.

Inside the pages are clean and tightly bound. Has an inked inscription on the front free endpaper dated Xmas 1947, but no other writing or markings of previous ownership.

In the original unclipped dust wrapper which is bright and un-faded. Has some nicks and chips along the top edge and several areas of loss (see close up photo). Otherwise the jacket remains very smart and has now been protected for the future by the addition of an archival removable plastic sleeve.
